We are committed to continue learning more about the Bible and the Christian faith, in order to "Lift High
the Cross" of our Lord Jesus and share His love for others in the community and throughout the world.

St. John was organized in 1888 in Burlington, Illinois as a congregation of the Lutheran Church Missouri
Synod. We currently have 468 baptised members, and 352 confirmed members. In 1988 we were
fortunate enough to be able to build a new facility. We currently offer a number of activities to help you
grow in Christ and "Lift High the Cross," and are always looking for new ways to reach out to share the
good news.
